Technical Support Professional

JOB SUMMARY

With comprehensive knowledge of Massy Communications’ services and processes, a Technical Support Professional is responsible for providing Technical support for Massy Communications’ Customers by responding to inquiries via phone and e-mail. This encompasses trouble-shooting customer's reported problems, educating new customers, escalating issues as needed and promoting the organization's products and services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delight customers daily in keeping Massy Communications Customer Service Philosophy
  • Responsible for providing quality technical support to customers and to installation and service personnel who are having problems using the company’s products. May assess needs and suggest/promote alternative products or services.
  • Deliver prompt and professional solutions for customer inquiries via phone, email, online chat etc.
  • Utilize interviewing techniques with customers, simplifying complex information into easy to understand questions.
  • Maintains advanced technical knowledge of the company’s products and services.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products and services to customers when appropriate.
  • Follow up in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Upgrades, downgrades, transfer and reconnects service. Answers basic billing questions (such as non-pays) and process payments.
  • May be required to attend and work company events providing face to face support, troubleshooting and demonstrating company products.
  • Performs any other duties related to the job function.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,Information Systems or equivalent job knowledge could be an asset.
  • Contact Centre experience, inbound and outbound/telemarketing is strongly desired.
  • Experience in Telecommunications or related field would be an asset.
  • Ability to handle difficult customer situations and drive positive customer experience.
  • Positive Team Spirit, enthusiastic with a strong aptitude and a positive "can do" attitude.
  • Required to work on a 24hr rotational shift system that includes 4x10 overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Exemplary Attendance and Punctuality.
  • Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
  • Must possess strong communication skills.

Operations Assistant

JOB SUMMARY

In this role, you will be responsible for executing housekeeping initiatives and general maintenance of Company assets and facilities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delight customers daily in keeping Massy Communications Customer Service Philosophy.
  • Configure ONT’s and STB’s as needed.
  • Pick items as per requisitions. Check and verify quantities. Issue materials to internal and external installation groups. Report damages and/or shortages.
  • Receive goods, sort and allocate as per Warehouse layout
  • Prepare and manage all goods receipt, dispatch, transfer, and goods return documentation.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping in work place and Warehouse.
  • Verifies receiving documentation including purchase orders and vendor invoices against received goods.
  • Inform department head of discrepancies in stock/goods delivered by vendors and returns made by installation groups.
  • Controls Inventory by conducting physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock, cycle counting and quarterly stock taking.
  • Reconciling physical inventory with accounting records.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical .
  • Maintains general integrity of the stock kept at the Warehouse or transferred to/from other locations.
  • Provide reports on stock levels / movement of slow, fast goods.
  • Provide lists of depleted items and recommends survey of obsolete and defective items.
  • Ensure vehicles are compliant with regulations such as markings, tyres, etc.
  • Operates Warehouse equipment, eg. Forklift, pallet jacks, etc., for the purpose of moving large and heavy items safely and effectively.
  • Ensure all HSE assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are fulfilled on a continuous basis.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable HSE legislation and policies as far as reasonably practicable.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Practical knowledge of Warehousing and Inventory operations.
  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team and add towards the growth of the team.
  • Minimum of five (5) O’ Levels including Mathematics and English.
  • Possession of A’ Levels.
  • Computer literate with proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Efficient problem solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to provide solutions to issues which may arise.
  • Good verbal communication, the ability to follow oral and written communication.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar work environment.
  • Must be a certified forklift operator.
